In 1963, in the wake of violent attacks on civil rights demonstrators in Birmingham, momentum built for another mass protest on the nation’s capital. Some 250,000 people gathered in front of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C.

Why it was submitted

I went down a deep rabbit hole on MLK this year, and I was incredibly moved by how timely his words still felt for our day. I wanted to create a layout that would introduce new people to some of his iconic words, as well as provide a high-level overview of his life. This was my first webflow project! It took a long time to get the layout I was wanting, but I was pleased with the final result.
